Ettalong Dance Academy is a fun, friendly dance experience for children and adults.
The Academy began in 2024 offering classes in Ballet and Jazz.
As the Academy grows, additional styles of lyrical, tap, musical theatre and hip hop will be added to the timetable.
Rebekah Humphries
Rebekah’s love of dance began when she took her first lesson at three years old. She immersed herself in the study of dance, training in RAD and Cechetti Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrcial, Hip Hop and Latin/Ballrooom styles. While living overseas for 9 years she was fortunate to learn from leading teachers in Vancouver, London and New York, while developing her teaching practice and performing professionally.
She has a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) and a Bachelor of Education from UNSW. She has completed the certificate of ballet teaching studies with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Professionally she has danced on the finale for Australian television series “Australia’s Got Talent” and for Australian pop singer Jessica Mauboy. She is a certified yoga instructor (2013) with a specialisation in Kids yoga (2015).
Rebekah aims to create a supportive environment where students can grow in confidence, express themselves creatively, experience the joy of movement and make lifelong friendships.
In 2024 Rebekah and her family are excited to be moving to their new home on the Central Coast.
Ettalong Dance Academy is a little girls dream of having her own dance school, come true.

Pink stockings and crossover for winter (cooler weather)

Jazz:
Leotard of choice and either black bike shorts or black leggings
Black Jazz shoes
Adult ballet:
Form fitting exercise wear. Wrap skirt (optional)

Walking Schoolbus
Pick up from Ettalong Public School. Students will walk to the guide hall with Miss Rebekah. Students will have time for a snack and to get ready for their dance lesson.
